Is this for you?
- Your customer has asked you to become IATF 16949 certified.
- You have ISO 9001, but IATF's automotive requirements feel like a different world.
- You were certified once with bought-in documents, and now nobody follows them.
What you get
- A gap assessment against IATF 16949 and your customers' specific requirements
- Training for the team who will own the system
- Your process list, built from how work actually flows in your plant
- Processes and documents written with your team, in language your people use
- Implementation on the floor, checked before any auditor sees it
- If you need it: help choosing a certification body, audit readiness, and support through to audit closure
How it works
- Gap assessment: where you stand today, clause by clause and on the floor.
- Team training: the people who will run the system learn what it requires and why.
- Process list: we map how work really moves through your plant.
- Process creation: your team writes the processes with guidance, so they own them.
- Implementation: the system goes live on the floor, and we check it works.
- Certification support (optional): certification body selection, audit readiness, and closing any findings.
What changes afterwards
Your team can explain the system in their own words, because they built it. When the auditor walks the floor, what they see matches what's written.
Questions people ask
Do you guarantee certification?
No honest consultant can; the certification body decides. The work makes sure your system is real and ready, with support right through the audit.
Do you provide the standard and AIAG manuals?
No. Please buy licensed copies; Kattamaipu is independent and not affiliated with IATF, AIAG or VDA.
Can you help if we're already certified?
Yes. Many plants need the system made real after certification. Start with a Paper-to-Floor Check or Audit findings closure.
